1. Khelo India Mission Launched in Budget 2026
FM Nirmala Sitharaman proposed a 10-year Khelo India Mission to transform India’s sports sector, plus a plan to make India a global sports goods hub. Sports Budget hiked: Khelo India ₹800cr→₹1,000cr, SAI ₹815cr→₹830cr, Sports Federations ₹340cr→₹400cr.
